Nintendo DS (Should I Buy Acouple)

NDENT

Been hearing alot of buzz about how this is gonna be this years hottest item come christmas time etc & was thinking should i pick up acouple of these units tomorrow to resell to those who cant be lucky enough to find them & make some pretty good profit ? or is it not worth it. What it balls down to is how easy or how hard are these gonna be to buy. I already see people selling these for like $250 on ebay. At that price what do you think people will pay for these come close to christmas when all units are sold out

If you can find them I don't doubt you can make a profit. Hopefully it's enough to compensate you for your time spent acquiring the DS systems.

I was going to preorder one online at ebgames.com a week ago, but they had already sold out the entire initial shipment according to the site.

I got a chance to mess with the DS today at Best Buy... the thing is pretty crappy feeling and honestly, I'm unimpressed with the overall look of it.

They selling for a nice amount on ebay right now. Gonna try to pick some up at midnight at a 24hr walmart.

After reading the reviews, it seems like Mario 64 just doesn't play as it should on a dpad or touch screen. Gotta have that analog stick. I'm not buying until I get a chance to play it for myself, or a different game I want comes out without possible control problems.

Just picked up 6 of these 2hrs ago at walmart lol. After i went at 12 i decided to give them back a call & they said they got 15. By the time i got there 5 where already sold. They only got 4 more in stock for tomorrows rush lol. Dont ask me why i got 6 lol. Gotta make my $$$.

I've seen the videos posted at IGN and it looks pretty good. Especially the dual screen gameplay. But playing games using a touch-screen is rather odd for me. Graphics seem cool too. BUt it doesn't seem too good compared to PSP's. Still waiting for PSP to see how the batteries will last.

The DS is ugly compared to PSP. That dual screen is a bad move. It wastes too much energy and that screen will wear down coz you have to keep on scrubbing on it. Only time will tell how durable a touchscreen is for gaming.

I sold 2 PS2 for $800 back then. Go buy a dozen DS and PSP. If you fail to sell them you can just keep them and say you have the largest collection of DS and PSP.

Saw plenty of these in stock today and this was close to closing. I don't believe the general public knows about this thing yet.

I was looking to buy 2 of these and all the stores in NYC seem to be sold out. So, I called the pokemon center store at rockefeller center and they have tons in stock. Also, they can be ordered from nintendo's online store. I ordered 2, one for me and one for my son late monday afternoon and they came tuesday morning. I cant believe what people are doing on ebay. Get them directly from nintendo!
