Nintendo DS question

hello all,

Google ain't helping me much in terms of finding info on DS mods.

I'm talking about adding flash memory, homebrew software, emulation, etc etc.

Lik-sang and play-asia both have GBA cartridges that take CF or SD cards. They let you playback videos and some let you run homebrew software.

is there software i need to download to play stuff off the media? or does the actual cartridge adapter thing do that for you?

The cartridges have built in software that let you browse and play the media.

There are some that also let you run homebrew and possibly even ROMs. I didn't research those much because I'm only really interested in getting something to play videos.
