Nintendo DS + Original Tetris == ??

My mother in law needs a new gameboy for tetris... I know the DS has wireless capability, but will that work with old school titles to play Multiplayer? Heck, do the original gameboy titles even work in the DS?

I gots no idea as I've never researched the DS at all.

Nintendo DS= ????

Doesn't this go under Software, Apps+Games?

NDS can't play original Gameboy games.

Uhh....

if you want old school games, just get a GBA or PSPw/ROMS (but since it's your mother-in-law, i'm assuming she wouldn't want to do all the ROM business).

no, just get a GBA and be done with it, the DS is absolutely worthless since it doesn't work with the older games.

Thats what I needed to know, thanks much. I'll have her get the SP instead of the DS.

Or you can always get her a DS and Meteos, which is supposed to be todays equivalent to Tetris. The SP is more budget friendly though.

the only game she plays is Tetris heh, she loves that thing. I have trouble beating her in head to head. 😉

It wouldn't be worth it to get a DS just to play Tetris. Just get an Advance. If you're lucky, you can find one of the retro ones, like I have 🙂
