Nintendo DS Lite Owners, question about AC adapter

I am going to buy a DS lite for a friend abroad. I don't want him to blow it when plugging into the socket in his country. Please tell me if the ac adapter is 110V-220V, or 110V only.

Mine says Input: 120V 60Hz, so I don't think it'll work at 220V

Yup, 120V only. You would need a voltage converter for it to work. I used one from Radio Shack when I brought my DS with me to Italy last year.

yeah its weird, the AC adapter for the DS is not worldwide compatible. the GBA's was.

It might be cheaper just to buy a new charger when you get there.

I just finished using one for my travels with my DS in Korea, Japan, China, Israel, and Egypt.
