I like "serious" games.. like BF2, Half Life, Age of Empires etc.

I am also kind of a graphics whore... I like really high end graphics.

That said, I kind of want a DS Lite.... esp for my upcoming trip and because I sometimes go home where I don't have a gaming rig of any kind.

So.. are there games I would enjoy on it?

An example of a game I don't like much is Super Smash on Cube.

if you're a graphics whore get the PSP. DS Lite has good games, a little wacky, and "young." the only real reason for you to get a DS is Brain Age, and possibly Metroid.

Graphics whores need not apply to the DS Lite, but if you're looking for fun then by all means its the way to go. The PSP graphically kicks the DS Lites rear but in original, fun gaming the PSP doesn't stand a chance.

DS games are very cartoonish, you won't find any mind blowing graphics on it. I bought Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time and Metroid: Hunters today. The latter's purchased due to the free rumble pack included. Both games are rumble pack compatible. I beat Mario Kart DS and NSMB. Can't wait for FFIII and Zelda DS.

They have Age of Empires for the DS

In addition to any of the games out now, GBA games play on a DS. 🙂
