Nintendo DS Game - How do I erase data?

I have a Nintendo DS Lite and bought a M&M kart racing game for my daughter from Gamestop. It was used and has two other kid's names in the game. It didn't come with a manual. How do I erase these kids names? Thanks!

No info there. I also went to the DSI/Zoo website and the manual isn't there either.

Upon the game starting up there is a button combination you have to hold down. I believe it maybe down, A, B, X, Y and both shoulder buttons.

It varies from game to game; there is no set standard. Holding down as many buttons as possible when starting up is usually a good thing to try. If all else fails, eject the cartridge while it is saving. With any luck, you'll corrupt the data and erase it all.

I think most games use press LT, RT, A, B, X and Y together on the title screen.
