gbrr, almost half an hour fightign with the Ninja trying to get the last clip hooked.

the first 2 of the same sides, tiling at a angle cliped in easily, than I applied the AS5 with the small acute angle opening I had, pressed firmily, woobled it around, than onto the 3rd clip.
a bit of pressure but its in.
the 4th clip took me roughly 30 min.
I couldnt snap it into place, I ended up bending 1 of the layer of the Ninja with my hand.
when I added force onto the Ninja, to push it in, the 3rd clip popped out scaring the day lights out of me.
for a second I thought I broked the plastic thing.
I finally saw my cousin walked by, called him for help, had him press on the Ninja while I use a wrench and my hand to push the clip in.

finally I got it in...
however my worries now is air bubbles.

throughout the encounter of the 3rd clip popping back, everything was lifted so to speak with my reaction. the fight with the 4th clip I have kept moving the Ninja in many direction, not sure if it could been sneared too much although I put half the size of my pinky nail. and a very very very very small tip dab on the Ninja.

what are your thoughts guys and how was the fight between you and the Ninja when installing?

Something doesn't sound right. Sure, many of these non-standard HSF are difficult to install, but you shouldn't have to put that much force into installing it. As for the case, have you tried using the provided rails?

yeah I got the HDD in, i had to search the forums and was trying to screw the HDD like an optical drive (which is true for any other case I worked with) but apparently the p180 structure is totally different, i learned whats up with the "bowtie" screws.

From here on actually reading the manual instead of the doing things as I normally do lol.... the case beat me!

I wasnt expecting surpassing 2 hours on the rig along and im not even done yet...but I also gotta blame TV CSI for distracting me too lol.
well i have to finish it tomorrow since im going to work soon.

I got everything inside the case except for the cables.. so tomorrow is cable managemnt time....
im prolly gonna purchase a Benq and have both Benq and NEC in and take out the samsung.. the white samsung really kills the look.

Well, I do hope as far as a AS5 compound is good between the cpu n HS with no air bubbles. Cause that will totaly neglact the impact of the HS itself.
well gnite all.
