Ninja Download Manager stopped updating the file @ 120GBs

now it shows activity in the tickertape only, not the main download window which goes to zero after several minutes.
I am trying to download a HUGE file and am 40% done when this happened.
I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it and same thing- no update and no file download on ANY file in the main window.
I have tried emailing them for support but it has been five days and I guess they don't care.
Has anyone else encountered this and how did you resolve it if you did?
Anyone got any ideas?
