Why does Netflix say Ninja Assassin isn't released until 4/13 when I saw it at Costco like 3 days ago?

Is it part of that deal I heard about where they don't get some new releases until like a month after release?

No, quite lame actually. You can still enjoy it as long as you don't have any expectations out of it, but I'd still consider it a waste of time.

ya, pretty much.

I went into it expecting two things: shit blows up and people get shred. I was not disappointed.

The "plot" is paper thin, fairly nonsensical, and actually kinda slow at the beginning, but overall it's enjoyable if you're just looking for a modern take on cheesy 80's ninja movies.

I thought that movie was horrible. HORRIBLE.

I mean, how can a movie w/ NINJA in the title be so bad?

Saw it last year and it was very disappointing. The majority Korean crowd seemed to enjoy it though.

I watched the recently released 2009 "Ninja" movie (not Ninja Assassin) the other day. Not bad for a "B" movie. That actor is 12 pack ripped!

Maybe I'm just sadistic but I found all the gorey parts hilarious. :p

That said, agree that the movie blew.
