Making chess pieces out of fan gear is nothing new. Being able to afford to market it and then deliver is another thing.

still it seems like a lot of lenses that do really similar things, I'd rather rent by the piece.

No one expects anyone to rent the set. Unless you are a huge photo company (getty etc) no one needs 20 200f2.8's😀
