Bought a Nikon CoolPix 995 a couple of months ago. The battery seems to have already died on it. This is only the third time I would have charged it. After 24 hours on the charger, the indicator light is still red, and when the battery is put into the camera, there is absolutely no power.
Does anyone know what the warranty terms are on these batteries? What is the expected lifespan (surely they can't be THAT short!)? And what is the proper time to recharge -- let it drain and recharge, or keep it topped off all the time?
advTHANKSance!
