Hi, just bought this digital camera. because i will need its "micro distance" photos(only 2 cm)

my question, how come i can only take 7 pictures(less than 10) then the camera will shut itself down because battery out.

This is very not right.!!!
 
oh ya, it uses 2x AA battery. so i put in the Duracell Ultra M3 (i beilieve it is the best)

after a few shots, it says the battery is exhausted and shut down itself.

however, i check the battery using its buildin battery meter, the battery is still in FULL, not 90% or 80%, but FULL(100%), what is the problem?

Manual says 80min of use, but i can only have less than 8 minutes use.

Everytime i turn on the camera, i can only see the "coolpix" welcome note, then it will shut itself down.

the camera already has firmwire v1.2
