So Nikon expanded the shutter recall service advisory. if you own one you should check and see if you are included in this. Mine was not on the first announcement but i checked and mine falls into this one

Thanks for this - looks like mine is affected too!

Did you already send yours in? I did not see any time frame mentioned on that page, so maybe that 'week or 2' is from your experience? That would be such a nice short time, for Nikon.

Once they took 4 months to return a lens of mine... 😱
