The free printer is AR, so its 699-100 rebate at cusa.

So is the consensus that this is a better camera than the rebel xt? (i hear its a much better pack in lense (nikon), but whats the score on the camera body?)

This is definitely the camera that I want to get this year for my trips. But I really want the 55 - 200mm lens as well. A few weeks ago onecall had both 18-55 and 55-200 lens for $800. Which is a good deal as well.

If you have a circuit city near you, I'd take this deal over there and PM it if you don't want the printer. You get an extra $20 off the deal due to the 110% PM policy.

does Circuit City pricematch online stores ?
if so, this would be sweet!

No, but you could get CC to pricematch CompUSA. Isn't their pricematch guarentee 10%?

You would have to take the advertisement to your CC and get it PM'd. Yes, they pricematch the extra 10%, CC sells it for $800.

-From past experiance they will only PM the price BEFORE the rebate so you could only PM the $699 price + whatever they will adjust for the free printer.

There is no rebate on the camera. It's 599 after instant savings.

This is for people who want it in their hands right now and don't mind paying an extra bit.

did it come with a usa warranty?

just wondering, because some of the smaller camera dealers on the web sometimes sell grey market goods.

When you use buy it now, do you get it in your hands right now? Like physically hold the camera and take a picture.

no need to bicker guys.

If you read the website @ compusa, it says as advertised so that means it's not online only. There's also no rebate because the rebate is only for the printer so you CAN pm it.

Nikon uses Sony's CCD which is lacking in quality, so I'd expect lower prise. From other side I sent couple e-mail with question about the camera to buydig gus and never got answer. What's CompUSA return policy? Two weeks?
