Nikon D3 shutter sequence in slo-mo

Okay, so it's not a video, it's actually a sequence of photos merged into what looks like video shot with a high-speed cam.

Anyway I think it's pretty neat to see what happens after you push the shutter release, one millisecond at a time.

motion pictures are just a bunch of still pictures shown at a very high rate.

edit: look at how much that bounces around, presumably it's mounted on something. shows just how bad the mirror is for slow shutter speeds.
