My KODAK 4800 is my future brother-in-law's toy now, I Bout the 995 finally for my fiancee.

Hi everyone, I did another way with MPSuperstone for this Camera this week, looks ok now, final price is

693.59 - 100 (MSN) - 100 (Rebate) - 175 (AMEX PM with RegencyCamera) = 318.59.

On Monday I did purchase, Tuesday I got email from MSN for the confirmation of $100, today I did the
price match with AMEX for the rest $175. The glad thing is RegencyCamera lower their price from
509.99 to 479.99 so make it a better deal from $350 to $320. From other store because they offer
$799 original price so the gap to RC is $320.00, that is no diff for PM with the $509.99 cause you only
can get $250 MAX. But MPSUPERSTORE have it for 664.99 now (I bout it for $654.99, one day before
I purchase that is 644.99, but unless they increate above to $739.99 you will have the same deal because
the PM from AMEX)

Now I strongly refer this deal cause I have done it right way.

Im sorry, I am a newbie to amex blue, and I dont quite understand. If you pricematch to regency, isnt the lowest price end up being $100 after the regency price, regardless of where or what you pay initially?

Instead of paying 700 initially, lets say you find a better deal for 650. Since you are pricematching regency at lets say $479, isnt the lowest possible 379 after rebate?

Like I said, I am a newbie so please let me know. Thanks all

A question re: the AMEX Blue PM -- does a reference to a web site work? I thought it needed to be a print ad?

Regency has a resellerrating of like 1.0 out of 7 or so, so they are pretty bad.

I just ordered it through their site and I paid more for the second day shipping, since I'm going on vacation next week, and the guy at mpsuperstore said that any orders placed today (Sunday) with second day delivery will get there most likely by Wednesday and anything done with ground will take 7 to 10 business days, counting processing; so if you could afford to wait, go with Ground, but if not, go with 2nd day shipping.
Only down side to this deal is that you get nailed with shipping, but oh well; this is the best deal since 800.com is off the list.

Just to recap, you pay 664.99 - 100 (Nikon Rebate) - 100 (MSN eshop promo) - 185 (Blue Price Match with Regency Camera) = 279.99!
Plus shipping.

It's not that hard, just goto eshop.msn.com and do a search for coolpix 995 and then buy it from mpsuperstore.com.

I'm having problems updating my order at mpsuperstore.com....I change the State to CA and choose Ground Shipping, and click Submit order, and it just refreshes the current page, and doest accept my change of State to CA, and goes back on Arizona....Is anyone else having this prob? When do i click the MSN Sign-In thingy to use MSN for checkout?

yeah, same here. What you gotta do is manually type in the URL and remove the %20 and that did it for my friend.

Nevermind...i got it...just dont go to eshop.msn.com...just go to mpsuperstore.com and do it from there...
:)

Um, you have to use eshop.msn.com to buy it or you won't qualify for the eshop promotion. My friend actually just used Mozilla to buy it and there also seems to be a price difference. He didn't want to risk not getting the MSN rebate.

Did anyone get a confirmation e-mail for their orders?
I used my hotmail address and I placed an order this morning and I haven't received a confirmation yet.

No, I don't think so, cause when you PM with the AMEX, they don't care anything but the price gap between
the two retailer's real price (before Tax and shipping), that is why you will have 185 back from PM.
BTW, every retail have the 100 Rebate. If you AMEX think your price is 665 + 100 = 775, that is even better
you can have 250 back. Guess they will not.

Shipping is hefty and made me think twice; but once I realized that 800.com is not a eshop promo, this is just as good.:disgust:

Have you checked out MPSuperstore (AKA Marine Park) out at reseller ratings? They have a 2.9 to 3 rating. :Q
I would rather pay a bit more somewhere else and avoid some of the horror stories listed there. But do as you will. This is what makes life interesting.

just so you know, ritzcamera is still an option for this deal, i just ordered today, it's
$799.99
- $250 price match with amex
- $100 MIR
- $100 MSN

total: $349, unless i'm missing something, anyone care to share??

I believe that ritzcamera charges tax for those of us residing in California, so mpsuperstore is still a better deal.

oh, MPsuperstore charged me $108.56 in tax and shipping to send it to me in NY, so i passed on that deal, it would hve made it pointless, and , i forgot to mention, that cameraworld is selling the nikon for $749, and ritz gladly pricematches with them, bringing teh total down to

$299
