Nikita- Episode 2 (9/16/10) <spoilers>

ok, the interest has peaked up a bit.

Nikita's mole in the BlackOps organization is put on assignment to be a hooker for some deposed 3rd world country dictator.

That guy is Nikita's target. The mole phones Nikita from his landline phone in the bathroom to give location.



Obviously in the next episodes i expect the organization to ask the mole questions like the phone call just before all hell broke loose in the dictators place.

her fingerprints on the phone, or if the phone was wiped, why no fingerprints on a phone that was just used....

so far the twist on Nikita having a partner is keeping me watching.

Saw the first EP and it showed some promise, after watching the second one, I'll definitely be keeping up with it. It's got an Alias feel to it and the cast surprised me. I hope they keep going with the flashbacks between Nikita and Alex for the rest of the season. I always enjoy the backstory to these types of shows.

I have been watching it. Its pretty good. But the storyline seems to be a quick one. May not make it past 3-4 seasons because of it.

yes. new plot:

she has gone AWOL from Division, and is now out to stop them instead of helping them.

thought it was going to be your typical 'turn on your master' type of storyline, ala Dark Angel. it's not.

Both Division's head of field Ops (Michael) and chief computer geek (Devon?) are in conflict w/themselves about hurting Nikita.

And then there's the extra twist of Nikita's mole in Division...

It's a completely new series that has gone off in a new direction. Pretty much the similarities are the names of the characters. They're just recycling the name to get more casual viewers, I guess.

That said, the new series is not bad, not great. We'll see how it turns out.

Oh kewl! Will def look them up! Have you seen the old episodes? Absolutely LOVED that show! Never did see Michael again on TV..

I've only seen the old LFN movie, not the TV series. But from what I've read, there's a bit of a disconnect with Maggie Q. She looks wimpy compared to Peta Wilson, so it's kind of weird seeing her beat men who are twice her size in hand-to-hand.

I didnt know it was based on a movie - the TV series were fantastic though - I recommend them. I am going to look them up again - I just quickly googled, and they aired more than 10 years ago!!

looks like "alex" had some rather inconsequential regular roles but also a lot of single episode appearances in several shows i watch which is why the face was familiar.
