Why wouldn't it? I presume it is just a software update and if the Nike+ uses either Bluetooth 2.1+EDR or 802.11 then the iPhone should be able to have it.

Sure! The same day we get MMS, Copy & Paste, and Voice Dialing :)

I'd love it, but probably not. They need something to get people to buy those iPod Touches!

The Nike+ uses something in the 2.4GHz band, but I don't believe its Bluetooth or 802.11, so it may cause interference with both/either in the iPhone. The iPod touch doesn't have bluetooth (officially...I don't actually know what that "bluetooth" chip they found is) so the interference might not be a concern.
