are those the same nightmares keep repeating or different nightmares
best way to deal with it is think positive, be happy
and you will have positive energy, nightmare will stop.
remember be happy is not a bad thing, it's a good thing

Dreams are the means through which your subconscious communicates with you. Look for different patterns or symbols within the dream that may give you a clue as to what might be going on. Have you been stressed lately? Problem bothering you?

It may also have been caused by something like eating ice cream or a big meal right before bed.

Definitely look at what you're eating. If I eat spicy mexican food after 1700 I pay with night sweats and constantly waking up.

I had a milkshake around 12:30am, thats about it... I didnt eat dinner...

As for the nightmares, i have about 2 right now that almost alternate weeks, one each week. I used to get them alot more as a kid, but not as many now... Surprizingly enough, my life just sorta simplified out and i dont have too many problems, none that i can think of at least...

You probably have a lot more that you can't remember. After all, REM sleep occurs several times during the sleep cycle.

You have several dreams every night, but you're lucky if you can remember just one of them.

Were any members of your family sent to the Nazi concentration camps? Most of my family fled Poland before the war.

I personally know survivors who till this day refuse to talk about it.

Anyways, about your nightmare, try drinking that Celestial "Sleepy Time" tea before you go to bed. It works for me.

Try to understand what concern this represents.
Then resolve that concern completely.

If you find out how to stop them, please let me know. I have one bad nightmare at least every other night. Sometimes I get the same one over and over for weeks on end. :(
