nightmare with windows xp pro

last night i close the computer with xp which i was logged in as administrator with all my favirotes and outlook stuff which was saved up for like 6 months..

today i opened the computer and xp makes a new account called admin only and none of my previous settings are there.

so i go to c documents and settings and see administrator folder with all my favirotes and desktop settings from last night, however my outlook .pst file i can not find a current one...

i tried to make a new administrator account under user accounts and it states it already exists even though i only see admin and guest only..

please help what can i do to get my old administrator account back in xp

I think if you go into control panel and change the log in type from the welcome screen to the windows 2000 login screen ... you should be able to login using the username: adminstrator and your administrator password
