Yeah, I usually jog 6-6.5 mph for 4 miles at night every night. It's a great stress reliever and keeps me in shape.

I was JUST going to post a topic about how I had a very stressful day and ask for advice on how to relieve my stress.
seems like ive found my answer already. :)

awesome im going out for a bit of a jog, bbl!

Stretch and drink a glass of water before you go. :) (more would cause cramps) You'll really feel RH on your second run and on. Just take it easy today.

you know, i used to run a lot. Cross country team, <6 minute miles. Lately (since college) i havent been running very regularly at all. here and there. i havent ran in the last 2 weeks or so, and i was just sitting here RIGHT now thinking "why am i in such a sh!tty mood?" and the answer, maybe, is that i havent exerted any physical energy in a while.

anyone have this? physical exertion lightens their mood?

Doing PT (physical training) with the Army at 0630 every morning actually gives me a great jumpstart to the day. Usually lightens me up a bunch.

I only run at night. I generally take a 3 mile or so route through penn's campus and out into west philly. Sometimes I also take the route over the bridge and around the art museum...both if I'm feeling up to it. I can't remember the last time I went running before midnight. In fact, I just went for one tonight.

i run on treadmills and eliptical trainers, i need to start running outside though.

even though (like with weight training) there are times i slack off, i know i will keep this regimen for the rest of my life. I enjoy being fit/attractive/healthy etc but the real reason I stick with cardiovascular excercise is to alleviate my own chemical imbalances (depression).

i just ran two times today (total: 5 something miles) and i still feel kinda sad, thats just teenage romance though :p

run = fun

I started running in the mornings to get in better shape for USAF basic coming up soon. I must say the feeling is great. Along with some changes in my diet -- I'm losing quite a bit of weight. It feels great to be in shape.

I tried to start again recently. Goddamn shins hurt too much to continue. That's what I get for not exercising for so long, well that and 20 spare pounds =)

I am the opposite. If I wake up and start running at 5 a.m., I am so zoned out that the running doesn't even bother me. Plus I feel like Rocky, and then when I get home it's 6:00a.m. and I have a huge runner's high and get to eat breakfast food, knowing I'm covered for the rest of the day because I already got my exercise in.
