You'd think they would be smart enough to register a domain like fbi-investigation.com or something. At least TRY to make it look legit. :p

I like replying to those emails asking if they can roll it up in pennies.

I just laughed at the idea of an agent giving out a personal e-mail addy. Especially one that spells the last name of the agent wrong.

Sweet. Now, because they're claiming to be FBI, you can forward this to the FBI's e-branch.

The sad part is to think of how many morons fall for these scams that it is profitable in time/money to keep sending out these bogus emails.

I wonder if the bad language is intentional. Only morons would fail to see the major errors, just the kind of people stupid enough to fall for the scam.
This way they don't get lots of worthless spam by people who might reply if written correctly, but too smart to actually send money.

Nigerians fighting spam?
