I got this email today. It appears that the Nigerian government is aware of the scammers in their country and is trying to make it up to people who got scammed.

Just tell them to send you a money order for the exact amount and call it a day. If you have a PO Box that is. when they want to send you more, you know it's a scam. It's funny they're taking advantage of Western Union refunding money.

Damn! Here I thought I was having a good day and I was going to get my money back from the Nigerian government. I just got a message that I have four serious allegations pressed against me and I am going to be taken into custody by the local cops.

I bet when I get home I find that my computer has a virus and I will have to call Microsofft to get my computer cleared up.

I got the same email. They just want my credit card numbers so that they can credit my account. Sounds legit to me.
