and the crazy rock and roll riders were there for a reason.

Rockers with big technical shows put shit like "no brown M&Ms" in their contracts to see if people reading the riders were paying attention. Those riders also included things like power and safety requirements. If there were brown M&Ms in the bowl, the band knew that they needed to recheck everything or someone might die.
