Nickel Creek...awesome bluegrass group

Just bought both their CDs after hearing samples of their songs online. I love them. I highly recommend them to everyone here.

got a question though, is it true that the lead singer and one of the guitarists are brothers?

Well there is no lead singer per se. They all do their fair share of vocals. Sara Watkins (the fiddler) and Sean Watkins (the guitarist) are siblings. The other guy Chris Thile plays mandolin.

They are fantastic. If you find yourself like me, losing faith in the music "industry" and longing for good, authentic music, give NC a shot. I think it's damn near impossible not to like them.

They are great in concert too, as you'd expect.

i want to see them in concert. It sucks though cause I'm going to miss their stop in IL by about 2 weeks. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be able to catch them over the summer sometime.
