nice

That is why I no longer live in the east. One winter we had 58 days straight of overcast skies and rain with zero sunshine. I had to fly somewhere and as the plane broke through the cloud cover into the sun I knew I was getting out. I have to travel back east once or twice a year on business and I find my stress level soars just thinking about living under that depressing grey sky.

Right now I'm looking at the golden fall light on the desert with no clouds in sight. Makes me happy just to look at it.

this much rain isn't the norm for the east. it's been exceptional the last couple of weeks.

Maybe I'm a freak, but I like rain. I really prefer a rainy sky to a sunny day...especially early morning. What's so 'bad' about rainy/heavy weather? I find it pleasant and relaxing, myself..
