The funny thing is, I'd like to be a conservative. I support kicking illegals out, for instance, with reasonable exceptions. (And so did Obama, who deported more illegals than GWB.) But Republicans believe too many crazy things that I can't get behind.
For example, the net worked just fine before 2015. Yet, listen to the progressives at Google and the sky is falling.
Remember walled gardens, like CompuServe and AOL? They fell apart because Internet access got you the same benefits, and with dial-up it was practical to provide unlimited Internet. Now Comcast and Verizon want to put walled gardens back together.
Talk about improving healthcare, and new found conservatives protest in droves.
I've yet to hear anybody produce a good health care proposal. At least Obamacare got me insured on a HDHP (another conservative-backed idea).
Revise the tax code, new found conservatives protest.
I want the tax code revised to benefit workers. Keep the tax rate high, but give big deductions or even credits for paying Americans middle-class wages. (But drop those for employees making really big bucks.)

Being neither Conservative nor Liberal I can't speak for them but for the rational people I'll go out on a limb and say that change or not isn't as important as opposing stupid and despicable. The Reps have shown them to be both. Maybe someday they will grow into humans instead of cruel and deplorable beasts. That time is not now.

Too bad though. Entertainment value is high with him. He's created some of the most epic fail threads I've ever seen around here. Which is quite a mark of distinction.
True, but we have tajjy and slow to offset the toothless posts. I honestly totally forgot about him until he posted today. And I am 100% certain, plenty of folks here could say the same about me.

You do realize the 1950s had the highest standard of living in a generation, right?

it was after nixon took us off the gold standard and established trade with China that things went down hill

So you are all for mass union representation and protection of bargaining rights right? Top tax brackets more than twice what they are now?

One of the things about Trump that I find funniest is how clearly desperate he is to appear classy and how completely he has always failed at it.

His properties remind me of the insanely gaudy palaces in Russia, like a child’s concept of what looks good. (If one painting on the wall looks good then 20 will look GREAT!)

So funny...I was going to add, "If Louis XIV opened a Supper Club in Gary, Indiana circa 1967".

Does not matter what the change is, if someone resist change, they are a conservative.

that is what liberal say, right?

Strange how the tables are turned when things do not go how progressives want.

Beyond stupid, it's why you keep a job. Just like you being against Obamacare then needing it.

Sorry Texas, I have to disagree with your thread title. I have seen no evidence in here of liberals acting with class and character, only the usual anger, hatred and ignorance.

Like your posts to gloat about winning. Just like Trump supporting Roy Moore and he won, right? Oh wait... :D

So much winning! And class? You're the fucktard that wants to throw grenades down tunnels to kill children b/c you think they're criminals and it's legal to do so.

Thank you, and under no circumstances should he ever be allowed to forget he was ok with that. Ever.

Usually, a conservative is associated with someone who resist change. With that in mind, it is nice to see progressive liberals acting like conservatives.

When it comes to just about anything having to do with changing the obama agenda, liberals act like conservatives and resist change. What are these new found conservatives afraid of? For example, the net worked just fine before 2015. Yet, listen to the progressives at Google and the sky is falling.

Talk about improving healthcare, and new found conservatives protest in droves.

Revise the tax code, new found conservatives protest.

Why are liberals flipping and becoming conservatives? Trump has an agenda, just like obama did. If people opposed the obama agenda, they were called racist. What do we call people who resist Trumps agenda? Maybe call them right wing conservatives?

When obama was bringing about change, he was considered a progressive. Now it is Trump who is the progressive and bringing about change.

Since I support Trump, does that make me a liberal? Probably so, but a right wing liberal, if there is such a thing.

So liberals, how does it feel to protest change and be a conservative?

Hey TH good to see you back man.
I was worried about you during the Texas floods

I remember reading that. It's hard to believe that such a rotten piece of shit can actually exist. Lowest of the low class.

I have him on ignore now, I have no use for anyone like him in my life

Texas troll posts again. Sorry to see so many get down in the gutter to argue your nonsense.
