The left is fighting tooth and nail to defraud Trump and his accomplishments, like getting his tax plan passed. But, it seems where the rubber meets the road there is lots of optimism from this.

So,uhh, raiding the Treasury on behalf of the Wealthy is a good thing? Who knew?

Why do you think job growth has been so much slower under Trump than under Obama?

Let me guess, it’s not Trump’s fault.
He thinks that because he believes the Obama job numbers were faked while he believes the Trump numbers are real. That there has been no change in how the numbers are produced, or the agency that produces them, isn't relevant to his thought process.
The reality is that Trump inherited a strong economy. Trumpers know this, their grievance is that Obama wasn't willing to let it boom at an unsustainable rate.

Y'all ready for the economic equivalent of a crack cocaine binge?

I'm looking forward to it. The koolaide drinkers will be the suckers without any chairs when the music stops, just like last time. What the OP mistakes as liberals acting like conservatives are actually just people who have memories longer than Dory's, which automatically disqualifies them for being a Trump "conservative."

I think the job numbers are real in both cases. I'm not a conservative really. I think Obama did a decent job in some ways, he inherited a train wreck from GW and without doubt left us better off than when he took office. That being said, Trump is making great strides and we're only a year in. If you look past the media bias he's really doing pretty well, and thus far the country is in BETTER shape than when he took office. Its a pretty cool thing, when you care more about America than your partisan agenda, its easy to be happy with the country doing better regardless of D or R in office (AT P&N should try it).

Because Obama inherited a mess, the bar was low. The DOW was 7949 the day Obama took office, he left it around 20000. The numbers are going to be very good for Obama, things were so bad when he took the reigns. Trump is doing fine, we're a year in and his change in policies have just begun, we really haven't seen enough to say how he compares to Obama. Let's wait for his tax plan to take effect and see where we are in time.

Let’s just compare 2016 to 2017. Why did job growth drop so much?

To be honest, the Trumpublicans haven't really been able to do much to screw up the trajectory of the economy they inherited. For that they'll need another credit bubble and their tax bill means we're on our way...

It's like a crack binge for the financial elite & they're really, really bad junkies for it.

  1. ISIS. Just months into the Trump presidency, their so-called caliphate has been crushed by a coalition organized and supported by the U.S. military. What a joy to see some of the world’s oldest Christian communities in the Mideast again worship freely at Christmas.

You mean the plan that was launched under Obama succeeded? I look forward to this man writing an op-ed praising Obama for all his accomplishments.

Meanwhile, Trump can't help but lie about...everything.

"We have done better in eight months of my presidency than the previous eight years against ISIS.” (Never mind that the Islamic State terror group emerged as a significant force in Iraq and Syria in 2013, when it captured and raised its flag over Fallujah.)

If we are using those "facts", then Obama did better against ISIS than anyone in the last 1000 years.

Don't let objective, observable reality get in the way of some good Dear Leader worship.

Trump "conservatives" live in an odd alternate reality of lies and straw men. They basically make up talking points out of thin air and then argue them as though they were real.
I'm surprised that Donald hasn't purchased Fox News to further ensure that they continue to broadcast his manufactured truth. They are the GOP's ministry of truth.

Disney beat him to the punch.

Yes I know Fox News is not part of the deal. Orangutan in Chief doesn't like leftovers however.

Why not compare Obama's first year to Trump's first year?

Why would we compare a year in the middle of a worldwide financial crisis to a year that was not? That makes no sense.

It’s a simple question that I am confident you will desperately avoid answering. Why was job growth so much slower under Trump this year than Obama last year? I thought Trump was doing all these great things for jobs?

When I think of the orange menace and faux news this comes to mind.
