Nice to be home from school..

After..

5 hours of sleep, ~5 hours of driving, 5 highways, ~350 miles, ~13 gallons of gas, ~80 mp3's, 30 chicken McNuggets, 2 liters of caffeinated Diet Coke, 4 bathroom breaks, ~dozens of cars passed, 4 answered calls, 3 missed calls, and 100+ mph speeds...

I'm home.

And bored.

And neffing.

Life is calm once again.

It was a '94 Integra, lots of wind noise at high speeds, but I had my music blasting so I really couldn't hear much 🙂

Even with almost 145k miles on it, the ride was acceptably smooth..all the way up to 100.. though the thin cheap cloth seats put my lower back in some pain..

However after using my new Dell Axim and GPS unit I realize that the speedometer needs some calibration. When the speedometer would read ~80, it was actually going just ~76 according to the GPS unit. I trust the GPS unit because a while back after calculating the mileage I got from another trip it registered at 37 mpg..which was definitely not right.

Anyone know how much it costs, or where one can get a speedometer calibrated?

350 miles in 5 hours... 70 mph.. thats pathetic.. so are the 4 bathroom breaks. Try driving 8 hours straight with no stops in the DESERT!!! 🙂

I always felt that speedometers are slightly overrated

All speedometers overrate speed.

Seconded.

4 bathroom breaks in 5 hours??? You're worse than a 90 year old woman. Yikes. I hate to see what's going to happen to your body when you get older.

Home sucks, go back to school.
No seriously, memories in college is better than anything else you'll ever experience in your entire life. It is the
most fun and memorable part of you life period.
