Nice Story about Shaun Alexander

His house may be inexpensive, but I'll bet his security system costs more than anyone's here. 😉

He's a definite class act, which boggle's my mind why holmgren stiffed him out of the rushing title 2 years ago. Atleast they eventually ponied up a well-deserved mega-contract for him tho.

Now, I can't remember quite what it amounted to, but I remember being surprised that he didn't get a better contract than he did. Seemed to me that he picked a bad time to agree as well, being a free agent and then the whole issues about salary caps and whatnot earlier. Was talking to a friend about this and we figured, maybe he was actually wanting to not put too much hurt on his teams payroll so that they would have a chance to get back to the super bowl.

He does seem to be a really nice guy though.

He was one of the few 'bama players that I know a majority of Auburn fans respected and liked when he was in school (that I spoke to anyway).

Always good to see a positive story about athletes.

definetly, polar opposite from a lot of what you see these days

You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer guy (athlete or not) than Shaun Alexander.

well along with Larry Johnson 😀

Alexander (and Tiki) carried me to my Championship this year, as well.

Too bad he plays in the 49ers division 🙁
