nice sports car for an adult?

whats a decently priced (no viper, vetter, saleen mustang, cobra mustang) sports car that appeals to women. my mom wants a mustang but my dad doesnt want her to get one.

he likes the s2000 is their any other sports car like the s2k out there that would be comparable in price, etc.?

my dad is selling a black mazda miata 7k miles on it 2001 model perfect condition in new york (long island)

i have always wanted a cherry late 60s mustang, but thats just me. i have no idea what you would hafta pay for one tho.

well, my dad would like one too but its like 25k, or somewhere in there depending upon what engine you want. just came back form a decently sized car show out in solon, its every tuesday. they had some nice cars there, some drag cars, one had 800 hp and could pull low 9's

maybe the z would be nice, but how comfy is the z for a 6'4 (2 of us hehe) dude.

the s2000 i know i can sit in, and so can my dad. what about the z?

If your mom wants a Mustang, she will be greatly disappointed with the S2000. Very different character there. The Mustang makes its power low in the RPM range and has a more relaxed delivery. The S2000 needs revs and will feel a lot more high-strung. Also, IIRC the S2000 is not available with an automatic.

auto doesnt matter, she was made to learn to drive standard when she learned to drive. she has never driven either so it doesnt matter just trying to get an idea of the cars in that area.

my dad doesnt like the mustang cuz its a "half assed sports car w/ a back seat". i dont think he likes its styling. the s2000 i like its smooth and sporty. im not sure what he thinks of the z though.

s2000 isn't offered with an auto. Why does he care if its a half assed sports car if its for his wife? Let her get what she wants. The mustang would be a much more pleasant daily driver anyway.

CAn you not read, he said that she learned to drive on a standard transmission 😛 IE - she can drive a stick perfectly well.
 
The Cobra is 10x faster than the s2000 so I don't know why he calls it half-assed. Maybe you dad is just an idiot?

Wow - I dind't know that cobra's went from 0-60 in .6 seconds!!!!!!!!! Wow - that definitly kills the s2k's time of 6 seconds :Q
