Yeah, from the title I thoguht it might be thermal (with a cordless phone??). It would be nice to not have to buy refill cartridges though.

pls be careful - I have the Sharp Fax/ 2.4 phone combo - I ran out of the fax film, my machine filled up with SPAM faxes, and then the answering machine portion QUIT working. It tells me the memory is FULL and that it won't accept new messages. I have looked for months on how to "clear" the memory, but to no avail...

just wanted to pass this bit of info on. What kind of design engineer would allow the "clear memory" button not to make it out to a production quality fax machine! lol
