For those who didn't make it to Alaska for the championships this winter...you gotta look at these at night!
Ice Alaska has 10 webcams up, refreshing every 5 minutes. I'm sort of in charge of camera and lighting placement and now a little site editing. I say "sort of" because the boss has final say as to when the cams get moved.
A bunch of world-class sculptors showed up to show their stuff, but these pics can't even come close to portraying the awesome beauty of the pieces irl. Gotta come see them for yourself to understand.
I jacked up the quality of the jpegs a little high today, so our bandwidth got overloaded pretty quick. I'm pretty new at this, but I think I've found a pretty good quality/speed balance now.
