You do, in fact, realize that the "Southern California" area encompasses thousands of square miles, and takes at the very least 2 hours to drive across?

Now, be more specific with the following:

1. Budget
2. Food Type
3. Ambiance (calm, ocean view, trendy, people-watching, etc.)
4. LOCATION (valley, westside, mid-town, pasadena, south bay, san gabriel, san diego, riverside, inland empire, etc..)

so where in "Somewhere near LA" do you live in?....if you're talking about downtown, there's a great place near the new kodak theatre...shiet..i forgot the name, but..

there's also a really spiffy cool upscale resturaunt on the top of the beneventour (sp?!?!!! how to spell it?!) that rotates very slowly or something...

you can always go to chili's..or red lobster heheheh
