Nice quiet case, no budget limit

I currently have antec p182 but I don't like how loud it is.

my components:

Asus P5Q Pro
Intel Q6600
Thermalright Ultima 90
Visiontek Radeon HD4870 512mb

like i said it's way too loud I need a quieter case

I was about to suggest the P182 until I actually read your post. I'm curious as to what the source of your noise problem is, as I love how quiet mine is - defintely the quietest I've ever owned. I volt-modded the top and rear 12cm fans down to 5V and put them on the medium setting, and they're now inaudible.

I would suggest running with the case open and trying to figure out which components are making the noise. I'd guess that your 4870 may be the noisy part, and possibly the CPU fan.

Alternatively, something like http://www.xbitlabs.com/articl...ay/zalman-tnn500a.html

No wonder they're quiet. Probably not even starting if you're trying to run them at under 5V... The Antec p180 series cases are designed for quiet. One has to use pretty feisty fans to make that case too noisy.

Find out what is causing the noise in your rig. Is it your video card fan? Does the whole system just sound like a wind tunnel?

A new case is not just going to quietly make your computer quiet if you keep the same noisy fans or vibrating hard drives.

You can start by setting all your fans (it has Antec Tri-Cool, right?) to low, and go from there.
