Nice Popup add :(

Alright, enough is enough. The first few times the google bar stopped the popup, now it doesn't. They must have changed the tags from a normal call, to a targe=blank call. I thought the policy here was no pop ups anyway? Like I said in previous threads about similar subjects, AT does not need to become an ad agency. You should not be getting rid of subscriber accounts in favor of more ads. I was considering becoming a subscriber, and then all of this happened. This really is not necessary.

I do use the google toolbar, which had worked up until today. Now I the popups are coming through, which means they are probably launched using a target=blank call.

I've not experienced any popups yet (thanks to Mozilla 🙂), but it's hard to ignore the sound of the mighty rushing wind, caused by all the air that is being consumed by the new flash-based sidebar ad.

Or even better use Firebird. Unfortunately though I'm at work and I cannot install additional software on this machine 🙁

I don't believe that is requires that you install anything. Just install the file and run the .exe.

You need admin rights to install the Toolbar. Trust me.

No offense to those able to run alternative browsers....

However, user intervention and the installation of a different or worse alternate browser is not the solution.
