Nice Popup add :(

got one when i hit back out of a thread. the sidebar ad was (and still is AMD). not sure why it does it sometimes and not others.

Got it as well. And that ever changing AMD ad is making me want to waste my $ on Intel.

rolls up a newspaper and whaps the AT marketing department on the nose

Bad marketing darpartment, bad.:|

Cool, we've got great animated ads which couldn't be more annoying, brand new pop-up ads advertising crap, all we need now is a bunch of AOL users to join the ranks to complete the new AT-Xperience(tm) :disgust:

Edit: F it I'll temporarily switch to Mozilla Firebird since it doesn't do pop-ups.

install google toolbar and leave popup blocker on. problem solved.

Or even better use Firebird. Unfortunately though I'm at work and I cannot install additional software on this machine 🙁

Install MyIE2.

It's still IE but better.

What's the deal with the google toolbar? Why's everyone so hot on it? Couldn't you also use "flashout" or one of those other flash-blocking TSR's to get rid of the AMDfvckMe ad?

for people that goto google many times a day it saves us that 2 seconds each time we have to click the address bar, type google, ctrl enter, and page load

I thought this pop up was from another forum until I closed that forum and was still surfing Anand and it came up again.

WTF?

Because the Google toolbar:

1. Integrates with Google
2. Is free
3. Is an easy to use toolbar
4. Is made by Google, a company 99.9% of geeks love and trust
