I've read that its actually on the quiet side.

(I'd doubt I'd hear it over my Volcano 7+) :p

Looks like it'd do the job quite well actually. It comes w/ those lil 'chip sinks' too, so spose that has to drive up the prices a bit? Looks like it could even cool a CPU if needed. :p LOL

I'm quite skeptical about the 8k rpm but only 27.5 db rating. On the other hand, if your using this to cool your nb, you've most likely got a LOUD fan on your cpu hs....

27.5dB for nearly 11CFM? I'll have to hear it to believe it :) Looks hella nice though, and the 'fet sinks are a nice addition. No having to Dremel the ol' 486 sinks and have them look all ghetto.

$20 says ThermalRight or ThermalTake will be releasing something similar next week :p

and to think that my Eumax cooler is only $5.99 ... I wonder how some people can afford a $33 cooler :) ... nicely designed tho. 8000 rpm is just too loud for my taste, it'll wake up my neighbor if I use my PC to its full capacity :)
