Is it just me, or is anyone else concerned by the fact that the shuttle looks beaten to hell and back, as if they'd pulled it out of a scrap yard?

What do you expect it to look like? They strap that thing to big ass rockets and blast it off into space, and when it comes back down it's a big firey ball of plasma for a while too.
