A great deal on a budget gaming laptop. Best price i've seen in a while for a Quad-Core Llano with 6GB of ram, 500GB, and a dedicated 6650M 1GB graphics card (not the integrated 6600G series!).

Excellent reviews as well :)

For Reference: The 6650M 1GB card has 480 stream processors!

Good deal for gaming. To maximize its potential it's of utmost importance that you buy another 4GB RAM module with the same specs so it can run in dual-channel mode at 1333MHz. With non-matching capacities it's running in single-channel and that hampers the IGP's performance by a lot. I'd go as far to say in some titles it'd make it lose almost half of its performance.

I don't need high resolution. as long as the picture is better than PS3 or XBox then this laptop would be OK...

I'm not sure that applies here, since it has a dedicated graphics card with 1 GB of graphics memory.
For comparison, the 6650M benchmarks at about the same level as a X800XT PE, an old 8800 GS, are on HD4670. Not great, but should be OK at the native resolution of the laptop.

People that are complaining about the 1366x768 resolution, please seriously stop.

This is a $500 dollar laptop you are getting what you are paying for. That said for $500 you get a quad core and dual radeon graphics (Dedicated+Fusion) is a great deal. Furthermore the laptop fusion processors can be overclocked with k10stat utility so if you want to experiment you can boost the cpu performance a little. (k10stat will allow you to change the multipler of this cpu as well as the voltage, most people are able to undervolt their cpus while at the same time overclocking them 20 to 35%)

If you want a 1920x1080 monitor with a decent graphics you are going to have to pay about $750 for a good sale or $1000 for a computer non on sale.

Seriously it is like people complaining that $200 tablets are not the same as an ipad 2/3. Of course they are not, that doesn't stop something from being a good deal though.
