I don't check my Engineering e-mail account often, but when I did now, I found this in my e-mail Nice
Dear College of Engineering student:
I would like to inform you that the College of Engineering has obtained a subscription to Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDN AA). Through MSDN AA all COE faculty and students can obtain almost all Microsoft software free of charge (Microsoft Office is excluded from the subscription). You are allowed to use the software for educational purposes as long as you are a student. After graduation you can upgrade to the then current version of the software at much discounted rates by contacting Microsoft.
In order to make use of this subscription you need to enable your account with e-Academy. e-Academy is a third party that helps institutions with distribution of the software available through MSDN AA. If you would like to find out more about them please follow the link below.
To enable your account, navigate to: https://msdn05.e-academy.com/osu_eecs/ and click Register. When registering, please use the following Identification Number: (*removed*).
Please note that NONE of your personal information, except for the Identification Number, which was randomly generated, was shared with the e-Academy. Enabling of your account is completely voluntary, if you decide not enable your account the account will expire and the system will never know of your existence.
Please feel free to contact me regarding this or any Microsoft related issue you may have,
Mark Vulfson
