Past Lifer 1957-2014 In Memoriam
I was watching my hands in the bathroom when some movement startled me. Whatever it was moved towards the sink and under it. I looked and saw that it was a houce centipede, three inches long it seemed.
I went and grabbed an empty gallon of ice cream and managed to drop the critter inside it to take pics for you nice folks.

After taking pics, I went to release it in the hallway, 10 feet from my door. The little ah heck just ran along the wall base, right back into my apartment and my bathroom too fast for me to catch. It is now hiding behind my bathroom paper shelves (used to be CD shelves). I guess its presence explains why I see cockroaches only rarely. At any rate, I'm letting it be as long as it doesn't start crawling on my face when I sleep. If it does and I wake up, it will be a centipede smear in no time.
