They may *look* nice, but Raidmax makes generic trash.

I epically wouldn't ever use a Raidmax PSU on any of my hardware. You are saying to your computer... Please self destruct!

I couldn't recommend you a cheap case. I use Lian Li ;)

Some of their cases seem to be ok, but I would definatly NEVER use one of their PSU's, they are low quality junk that will end up frying your components. That keeps me from buying any of their cases as well since I know the lack of effort they put in to their PSU's.

I see these cases for sale all the time at computer shows. They are usually fairly cheap, 30-50 bucks, sometimes less depending on the installed psu. They are a tad loud. Lian-Li is the way to go. I love my 6089A.

If you cut off Whoopi Goldberg's head, dug everything out, and then used the head as your case, it would still be significantly more attractive than that one you showed...ugh.

My old case was a Raidmax with Raidmax PSU, and it was a very good case. I am using it now to build my dad a computer. I had it over 2 years and no problems at all with the PSU. I don't know why some people on this forum say a company is crap when they don't give a explanation why they think this. please next time give first hand examples about why a company is crap before you bash them.

Funny really the people here that have never used a Raidmax.

My old case before my current Tsunami Dream was a Raidmax. Was the toughest Steel case I've ever had BAR NONE! No flex! It was ROCK SOLID.

The cheapo 350w PSU that came with it, I had doubts, I used it on a fairly weak system. Well after upgrades and such I had it running on this system:

A64 3200 (newcastle)
512MB Corsair XMS pro
9800pro 256MB edition
2 hard drives (at the time)
2 optical drives
and a floppy

It ran all these, but I eventually coughed up the money for an Antec. Guess what? The Antec died on me! So I was back on the Raidmax PSU.

Eventually I traded it for a 350w PSU, also generic but it blew out on me. And now I have a broken computer!

I miss my raidmax PSU! I still have the case though.

One thing to note though, my Raidmax case is not the one shown there, it's actually subtle., and nice clean looking design. Paint job was top notch.

I paid over $80 for the whole thing, little did I know that it was only worth $50 on Newegg...
