Odd. Kinda reminds me of a 4 door BMW M coupe on steroids.

I think the production design looks pretty good, although those headlamps are way too small - it would look better-balanced with larger ones IMO. I would probably never buy such a vehicle, but it looks OK to me.

Looks just like the Nissan Murano with some slight cosmetic changes. (And yes, I know that Infiniti is Nisssan's luxury division)

I think it's quite a bit larger, and to me the two do not look especially similar. The FX looks considerably more masculine than the Murano.

Thanks :). Hmmmm.... On the one hand I like it. On the other I don't. The headlights seem a bit odd, and I hate the interior (I prefer more "normal" interior. I hope that's not the final interior). I don't really think of it as an SUV, more like a big hatchback (like VW Golf).

I can honestly say that I have mixed feelings regarding that car. I think I need to see it in person before I can make my final judgement :p.

I think the Infiniti definitely looks better than the Porsche Cayenne...

The FX45 doesn't really look like the Murano to me. They do both have the "car/wagon" body style going, but the styling is completely different, especially the Murano's unique front end. The vehicles are based on two different platforms, so they're not similar underneath, either.

I think in the new pictures of the FX it looks like Infiniti has shrunk the grille somewhat. It looks better to me vs. the concept car.

I saw one of these in my neighborhood maybe a month or two ago. It was getting dark so I didn't get a good look at it but the overall shape was nice(obviously no camera with me at the time).

Very nice looking SUV. Besides the M45, Infiniti's lineup is shaping up to be a nice looking bunch.

They're no Pathfinder/QX4 but they are very similar...

I still don't see it, except in the sense that both are relatively rounded, modern designs. The nose, in particular, is completely different, and again, I believe the Murano is quite a bit smaller.

If you extend the grill on the Infiniti, it makes the nose very similar to that of the Nissan. I guess its just the way I analyze cars... ;)

Huh? They're talking about the Murano and the new FX. Not the old vs new FX concepts.

Either way, I don't think that the Murano looks anything like the FX. The Murano is based on a FWD chassis, hence it has more of a "cab-forward" look. The FX is based on a RWD chassis, and its cabin is pushed more rearward to clear the V8 engine. Took completely different looks, to completely differnt chassis.

Looks very nice. Now Infiniti needs something that looks like the Hummer H2 to stand out at the other end of the SUV spectrum.

They kinda look similar but they're on different platforms. FX45 is on Z/G35 platform, Murano is on Altima platform.
