Buy.com has the Epson Stylus Color 900G (as in graphite color) for $203.95 less $30. discount less a $50. rebate from Epson.

This is Epson's fastest inkjet and rated at 5,000 pages per month...great image and print quality. Only downside is the replacement ink cartridges are a little higher than on their lessor models.

I have the 900 and the cartridges are a little more expense, but they are larger than my old epson 600. The cost per page is suppose to be less since you get more pages per cartridge. Picture quality is pretty good, but the 870 is better.

I like my Epson 740 (Got it for -$9) fine. And besides, its ink cartriges (generic equivalent) are only $3 for black and $5 for color.

Can you expand on your statement on the 870 being better than the 900 in picture quality?

Not to dog on the Epson...but how can you guys say there is good picture quality with them. I rank them right up there with Canon. Again no offense, just seems like all an Epson has been good for is office B&W printing.

the 900 isnt the best, the epson 980 is....(i just got my PC World for October). what is the difference between those 2 printers? PC World prices the 980 at $250-$50 rebate=$200.
