nice , Cheap KVM swtich ?

Hello,

I'm looking for nice and cheap KVM switch , that would support any OS and resolution up to about 1280x1024 without a problem ...


b/c as I found out, I don't have any space for my laptop in this little dorm room ;( ...


and I had KVM switch before , that was bought here, but it was broken , and the person who sold me it is nowhere to be found

and yet he was recommended by some of anandtechers ...

I personally like the Cybex KVMs. Platform independent...keyboard switching, and fairly cheap. ($150 for the 2-port, $190 for the 4-port). It also does 1600x1200...for future upgrades.

I had that Cybex KVM ... it was looking pretty good , but there was some problem with transmiter , so it doesn't work

You can get the 2-port Linksys that comes with cables for under $80. I use it without problems at 1280x1024.

I got a 2-port Linksys Proconnect, and it works really well. Buy.com has the 4-port for $75 (Link).
