Looks like free SHIPPING to me, not free tools. Is there another rebate somewhere?

yeah... looks like I suck. The good news is the tool box, tool bag, and tape measure are free after rebate. The others are free shipping.

No, you were right. All of those items are free after rebate today and tomorrow only. They are in Sears Thursday's newspaper circular. The rebate forms just show up under some of the products and not under others.

"FREE TOOLS AFTER MAIL IN REBATE #26148 $7.99, #32254 $6.99, #14405 $6.99 #39324 $3.99, #40947 $4.99, #65272 $4.99 #59551 $7.99, #1880 $3.99, #30074 $9.99 #41404 $7.99, #47137 $7.99, #47139 $7.99 #34438 $9.99, #34442 $9.99. LIMIT ONE PER HOUSEHOLD, PER ITEM. EXCLUDES SALES TAX."

There are actually more than that free after rebate in the ad.

Dorcy 6-volt lantern w/6-volt heavy duty battery 1880 reg $3.99
Craftsman wrench holder 65272 reg. $4.99
Craftsman 7 1/4" circular saw blade 32254 reg. $6.99
Easy Living 2 1/2" one-coat paint brush 14405 reg. $6.99

Here, it is a "snuggly warm" diversion for some mostly second and third rate bits and pieces, but over at Morbidly Obese Billfold, it's a veritable ferengi feeding frenzy.

OP, you were right. My Bad. SOME of the items are FAR, just not the ones I wanted.

Sorry.

I went to the on line ad and it looks to me that only some of the tools are free. When I push rebate details for the pliers set it only offers free shipping. What am I doing wrong?

Note that not all of the items are Craftsman. I generally find the other Sears tools to be junk if they are not Craftsman.

One more time. :)

ALL of the items shown on the OP's link are FREE after rebate. There is one rebate form that can be used for all of them. It just doesn't show up under all of them. It DOES show up under the tape measure, the tool bag, the tool box, the metric socket set, the SAE socket set, and the wrench holder but it lists the item numbers for ALL the items on the page as well as the ones I listed.

Just got back from there and got the phillips screwdrivers, tool bag, 14pc screw guide set, pliers, paint brush, circular saw blade and lantern. ONE rebate form prints out that covers them all.

I'll enjoy using $60 worth of free stuff or giving it as gifts, even if it is second and third rate bits and pieces. ;)

allisolm, I've seen reports at B$ that the rebate is in the form of a Sears gift card. Can you verify that?

Yeah, is it a giftcard or a check? Did you purchase the items for a hometown store or a normal sears store? I think I will have to stop at Sears on the way home today.

I can confirm that this works online, too. [Except the fact that hey are out of stock for the screw drivers] Your confirmation email will include a single rebate for *all* of the items listed. It's a bit confusing because several of the items have their own rebate as well. Wouldn't chance sending in multiple rebates to get $$ back -- they all go to the same address.

Enjoy and you'd better pick up the tools while they last!

No mention of a gift card on the rebate form that prints out at the register.

There is a rebate form that for all of the items that can be printed out here that does mention gift card but I am not going to use it since the amount is wrong ($4.99 vs $7.99) for one of the items I bought. This form does not require UPCs.

There is also a rebate form there (http://rebatestatus.sears.young-america.com/PDFs/50162-1.pdf ) for an additional item Craftsman 5 pc. Screwdriver Set Sears item #00941809000 Mfr. model #41809 which is FAR, too.

Excellent, hope there's something left by the time I get there. ;) Thanks.

Our local store was OOS on everything that was FAR.

I was moderately upset since I got there right after noon and they were already sold out, but did not blame the salesclerk who was very helpful in filling out rain checks even though she said she had already did hundreds that morning.
