:confused:The SuperMicro H8DCE mobo has twin gigabit LANS and a JWOL header. SM says it requires a separate NIC connected to the 3P JWOL and they suggested an Intel NIC.

But I can't find any documentation of a 3P header on Intel cards, the web photos are too low rez to see a header and SURPRISE Intel tech support has not responded to an inquiry.

Does anyone know of a NIC with a 3P header I could use with this mobo to do WOL from server?

Ade you sure that the Motherboard can not do WOL internally. Almost all Mobo with onboard NICs' can.

Take a look at the manual and the BIOS menus.

Some NIC cards can do WOL through the PCI/PCIe slot.

It is a little hard to find a good new NIC with the old header and the wire to connect to the Mobo's WOL header.
