I'm using a Netgear FA310TX with Win98SE. It works fine in gaming, but if I try to transfer (send or receive) a large file(s), it hangs at some point and I get 'Cannot copy xxxx. Device no longer available'. I've shot files around with the other comps on the network, this box is the only common denominator. Seems this has happened with Win2k pro also on this box. I've checked the FAQs here and at Netgear. Any ideas?

TIA

buy a decent card i've had this problem with numerous FA31X cards. dumping them was the only workable option. saves a lot of time and hair loss 😛
