NIC Teaming

How do you 'NIC Team' on a Dell Poweredge T310?
At the moment, doing anything with the server only uses the first NIC. Very annoying, since it comes with two NICs.

You can still team, just in active/passive mode, also known as fail over. But for increased transfer rate you need a switch that supports etherchannel

in the hp software you just tell it to create a virtual nic - which is the teamed of the two physicals and set that one up.

teaming is overrated.

Besides a switch that supports ether-channel, your NIC driver must support it.
Does your server give you an option to do it w/ either 802.1ad or statically on?
